Like, for example, this box of frosted cookies whose package and inner wrapper seemingly promised a smily tongue face on the uppermost cookie.

There is no smiley face on the cookie. This is, however, enough trans fat to warrant a felony in the state of New York.
This is a fun little green tea cookie. The package is so cute, kind of like a zen sanitary napkin.
The green tea cookies were a hit... crispy and light with a delicate green tea flavour. If only I had finished on these instead of the last snack...
WTF. Seriously, what does this look like to you? Cause to me, it looks like a field of beautiful daisies where tiny children dance and laugh in the sunshine. Or not.
You go random but I'm a consistent snacker. Uh-oh! I am going to look for these snacks (esp. the green tea cookies) in my next trip to a Jap specialty store here. That "trans fats" cookie ? - Is it a savory biscuit and a sweet filling ? Looks like it.
ReplyDeleteThat last snack. Seriously. Too funny.
ReplyDelete- Chubbypanda
The last snack looks like cat poopoo. But I had those before. They're pretty good. If I remember right, they are made with dark brown suger coating.
ReplyDeletethis is too funny. had i known about that last snack, i wouldn't have had to roll those cat turds out of tootsie rolls for my litter box cake.
ReplyDeletei *heart* hannam market!
It's almost fitting that the name on the green box is "at first sight [literally, eye]"
ReplyDeleteThe 3rd peanut covered treat is something my mom used to eat as a child 50 yrs ago in Seoul.
ReplyDeletei love the last one! caramely and nutty. ok before you guys mentioned i never thought it looked like turd! those korean crackers can get addicting. the saltier ones are perfect with beer though.
ReplyDeleteWhere is Hannam market? I just moved to LA from Brooklyn and miss grocery store random unknown item snacking.
ReplyDeleteOh your God, is that Harvest cookie sandwich?!?
ReplyDeleteHarvest-the best cookies to come from the land of the Rising Sun. Now it meets sugar cum partially hydrogenated oil with various natural and artificial flavoring. It's a match made in heaven.
